Kate Hudson has been doing Pilates for years and it shows. But that doesn’t mean she’s not still learning!

That’s one of the wonderful secrets of Pilates, it’s so rich and deep that even those that have done it for decades still find themselves learning new and amazing things nearly every time they workout!

True even for me, a Pilates mat instructor for 40 years!

And on Monday Kate Hudson proved she’s working hard to achieve both goals by posting an Instagram snap of herself almost doing the splits at her Pilates session in Los Angeles and one of her cuddling her trainer’s baby boy.

Kate showed off her incredibly taut, toned and tanned tummy in a black sports bra and white leggings with grey leaf images that she rolled down low on her hips.

The actress is taking a break from filming Deepwater Horizon with her stepfather Kurt Russell and Mark Wahlberg in New Orleans, Louisiana….

The film centers on the offshore drilling rig that exploded in 2010, creating the worst oil spill in US history.

Kate and the 64-year-old actor she calls ‘Pa’ were spotted strolling around the set on Thursday….
